“WE NEED TO TALK”

TRIP TO CENTRAL QLD –
MKP Queensland and the Black Dog Ride Qld. will come together on the 15th of October to help support men and women heading out on this very important Mental Health Week 2020 initiative.

The Black Dog Ride “We Need To Talk” initiative is a great cause and through the Rotary organization MKPQLD was asked to support this Queensland Mental Health and BDR (Qld) initiative. MKPQLD has committed to sending 3 support vehicles and 6 riders to help spread the word on Mental Health week and to offer to men throughout Rural Queensland the unique brand of support that is MKP Men’s groups and the NWTA.

THE RIDE
The riders all leave north of Brisbane at 9 am on the 15th of October and in the following 2 days will visit country towns along the track until they arrive at Emerald Central Queensland on the 16th of October. Emerald is the meeting place of another Black Duck Ride from Townsville/Mackay coming in from North Queensland to meet with the Brisbane mob, all due to arrive on the 16th as well… it’s going to be BIG! Following the Friday night meetup the riders from South East Queensland head off Saturday morning for home via Roma (overnight) then arriving 4-5pm Sunday the 18th of October in Brisbane.

LIMITED NUMBERS
Because there is only a limited number of men able to go on this important ride seems the men who cannot go because of Work and/or family commitments wanted to offer support via financial donations to relieve the burden of the MKP participants, so we have arranged a DONATION button on the website for all men to support each other.

PLEASE NOTE these donations are all going towards MKPQLD supporting our Rural brothers.
