Mental Health
and the Black Dog Ride Queensland

12- 18th October 2020

“We Need to To Talk” Ride

This Ride will Raise Awareness of Suicide and Depression in our Rural Communities!

WE NEED MKPQLD MEN ABLE TO SUPPORT THIS RIDE

Qld Mental Health and a Black Dog Ride organizers have arranged a 4 day “get connected and let’s talk” trip to Emerald in Central Queensland.

Through our new relationship with Rotary we have been invited to attend and support the ride!

Bikers and support staff/vehicles are leaving on the 15th of October – coming back Sunday afternoon on the 18th of October 2020.

There are planned stops along the way where we can all sit with local people needing to have a chat.

Rotary Clubs, Lions organizations, and various support staff from Queensland Mental Health have arranged for interactions with “the locals” at every planned stop!

MKPQLD MEMBERS AND THE RIDE

MKPQLD have purchased and then created a
fully sign written GAZEBO for people to visit and have a chat at each of the stops along the way. We have created flyers and handouts on what we do and how we do it to share with the men and women in all these country towns along the way.

You are welcome to join us

We need 6 riders and 3 support vehicles
(The support vehicles can have two men on board!)

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT IF YOU CANNOT MAKE THE RIDE!

Many men have asked how can they support such a great initiative as they cannot attend because of work commitments or family commitments.

So we have created this donation section just for you!

PLEASE MAKE A DONATION BELOW

Donate whatever amount you can as this button will allow you to donate anything from $1 to $1000. Any (Amount above $50 is tax deductible)

Any amount is welcome and appreciated as they will help us to reduce costs!

Your support here helps MKPQLD provide the services needed for our Rural support efforts.
